A cozy traditional family room decorated in whites and blues, it's a classic combination!
The blue rug was a starting point for this blue and white color scheme. The rug has a beautiful geometric pattern that works in both traditional and modern settings. Though the sofa has some traditional lines, we opted to pair it with chairs that have clean and modern lines. To add softness to the space without blocking any light, we designed custom window treatments - white sheers with a gentle ogee pattern. The hardware on the window treatments features mercury glass finials, which adds a bit of a bling.
Adjacent to the living space, a dining space was created featuring a solid wood pedestal table paired with cross-back chairs. We used another rug with the same pattern to keep things looking consistent. The builder grade chandelier was replaced by a round chandelier featuring dark metal and double glass shades.
To fill the void above the sliding door, we used some unique art: a set of framed white and blue ceramic plates.
