This red and white guest room was designed for One Room Challenge and Better Home and Gardens

The red wallpaper and the other red accents have an energetic vibe, which is contrasted by the white wall color.

The bedside lamps are the jewelry of the room with their vintage vibe, simplicity of the glass shade, and the unique look. We were happy to incorporate the zodiac sign art piece which is of a great sentimental value to the owners.

The unique wall art was made with wicker and feathers. We selected hibiscus print to brighten up the room (it was custom ordered from Spoonflower). The silk fabric reflects the light and looks dimensional.

For the ceiling, we chose a contemporary chandelier paired with an art deco-inspired ceiling medallion. They look like they were made for each other. It is a great example of combining design elements that seem different at first, but when placed together they create great synergy.

The art was custom painted for the space, and it echoes all the colors in the textiles. The white bedding looks crisp and fresh. We chose only a little bit of texture and a subtle stripe pattern in the bedding and pillows to let the pattern of the draperies be the star of the space.
