We started this project from scratch. Our clients wished to create a luxurious master bedroom retreat with a hotel feel.
We selected light grey and beige colors for this modern style space. The room is anchored with a poster bed with an upholstered headboard. The shagreen texture of the wallpaper adds dimension to the accent walls. Two nightstands frame the bed. Additional depth was created by installing two uniquely shaped mirrors that hang on leather straps. For the bedding, we mixed and matched patterns to create a beautiful mix.
To cover up the room-darkening honeycomb shades, we designed a set of stationary draperies in beige velvet and added flat valances in geometric pattern to hide the honeycomb headers.
The bedroom also has a cozy corner for relaxing and reading: we added a chase lounge, a modern metal console with a stone top, tall table lamps, and stunning abstract artwork in a simple champagne finish frame.
