This large open floor plan family room needed overall styling and finishing touches, such as a new chandelier and a rug to anchor the two sofas.
To bring a bit of color, we added a blue and white wool rug with an abstract traditional design. The builder grade chandelier was replaced by a modern perforated metal chandelier. The floating shelves were only 6 inches deep and posed somewhat of a challenge. We curated a selection of decorative objects to create some visual interest, and incorporated family photographs, and a touch of greenery into the shelf decor.
To provide privacy, we installed a motorized roller shade that is barely noticeable when retracted.
Overall, the this family room came together quite nicely.
